Volkswagen New Beetle will be available in Indonesia in 2013. "VW New Beetle will be available in 2013 because the current was passed several tests such as testing fuel and etc.," said Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PT. Garuda Mataram Motor Andrew Nasuri when holding a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday (28/2).

However, Indonesia Volkswagen lovers do not fret because VW Indonesia will launch two new variants of the VW New Tourage 3.0 TDI and the VW New Scirocco TSI in the coming months.

Andrew said New Tourage 3.0 TDI clean diesel is sold in China and Hong Kong markets in Indonesia last year but has been delayed because of the VW Group is looking for a diesel system in accordance with the conditions of Indonesia and New VW Scirocco TSI will be present with the 1.4 engine turbo charger.

"Changes in New Tourage 3.0 TDI is located in New Bodyline, interior design and headlamp," he said.

Andrew refused to reveal some other recent variants. New Tourage 3.0 TDI will be launched in March 2012 and New VW Scirocco TSI will be launched in May 2012.
